Picture tips.
Great pictures will help sell your boat. Nothing looks better than your boat on the water. If you don't have or can't get a picture of your boat on the water, try to position your boat without a "busy" background. Trees, a lake, or a wall all provide an uncluttered background so your boat is the focus of the picture. Make sure your boat exterior is clean. Pictures of the interior of the boat should be uncluttered. Remove bait buckets, trash, cans, rods, tackle boxes, etc.. buyers want to see your boat, not whats in it. Look at other boat pictures to see which are the most appealing. Take a main listing picture which includes the entire boat, but don't think every picture has to have all of the boat in it. A close up of the electronics, motor, dash, trolling motors, all help sell your boat. If you really want to make your boat stand out early morning light really makes almost any picture look great. Keep in mind the more megapixels your camera has then longer the pictures will take to load. If you don't have a digital camera, you can mail pictures to us, we will scan them and post them for you.
Listing Description
Next to your pictures, your listing description should give potential buyers a good idea of what features your boat has. Motors, electronics, live wells, batteries, storage, fuel tank capacity, rod and tackle storage, trailer, etc. Include everything you can think of.
Price
Even with the best pictures and the best description, if your boat is not priced correctly it will never sell, nor generate any calls. Check out www.nadaguides.com, classified ads for similar boats, and boat dealers.
